Janubasti

In Sanskrit,’Janu’ means knee and ‘Basti’ means to retain. JanuBasti. JanuBasti addresses the pain, stiffness, and discomfort of the knee. The movement of the knee joint makes locomotion easy, and the knee joint is in some sense one of the most important joints in the human body. Degeneration, inflammation, and injury are some of the key reasons for knee pain, and JanuBasti can help support these.

Procedure

The person lies on the massage table on his back. The dough ring covered the knee joint and made of black gram dough. The ring should be leak-proof. Herbal decoction or lukewarm medicated oil is slowly poured into the ring. Oil is squeezed out with cotton gauze when it is cooled down, and the procedure is repeated. The affected area may be gently massaged after the completion of the process. The ring is removed, and the person takes a rest for a short while.
